A Mix of Old and New Housing
Scleddau sits on the A40 between Fishguard and Haverfordwest, close to the Gwaun Valley. Being on a main route works in your favour if you need a repair — it's one of the quicker call-outs from our Goodwick base, with no back roads to navigate.
Housing here is genuinely mixed: older roadside cottages that need the same heat-loss survey and possible radiator upgrade as anywhere else with solid walls, alongside 1970s and 80s bungalows that usually convert to an air source heat pump more easily, since they were built with cavity walls and generally already have larger radiators.
Like most of the area, mains gas isn't the default here, so a good number of the jobs we quote are heat pumps replacing oil or LPG.
