Manorowen is a scattered rural hamlet a short drive inland from Goodwick — farms, smallholdings and detached houses rather than a tight village centre. Properties out here are almost always off the mains gas grid, so most of our work is replacing oil tanks or LPG with a heat pump rather than a gas boiler swap.
The land that comes with a lot of these properties is what makes a ground source heat pump genuinely worth considering here, in a way it often isn't on a standard housing estate. If you've got garden or field space going spare, a horizontal ground array can be laid at a lower cost than a borehole, and we'll assess this alongside air source at survey.
Properties tend to sit further apart than in Fishguard or Goodwick itself, so we often plan Manorowen visits alongside nearby Scleddau and Dwrbach on the same day — which can mean quicker availability if your booking fits that routing.
