A Small Hamlet, Planned Around Access

Dwrbach is one of the smaller places we cover — a scattered handful of houses and farms rather than a village centre, tucked near the Gwaun Valley inland from Fishguard. Properties are often reached by private lanes or single-track roads, which we plan for at the enquiry stage: what size van can actually get there, and whether materials need to go the last stretch on foot or by trailer.

As with most of the hamlets around here, mains gas was never laid on, so oil and LPG replacement makes up most of our installation work in Dwrbach. Older properties get a proper heat-loss survey before we size a heat pump, the same as anywhere else with solid walls or older construction.

Given how few properties there are in Dwrbach itself, we usually combine a visit here with a job in Scleddau or Manorowen on the same day, which tends to keep availability better than you'd expect for somewhere this small.
